The School of Justice Studies at Rasmussen College is known for its excellence in education and quality teaching staff. In 2008 Rasmussen College in Rockford IL was designated as the IL/WI Regional Training Center for the National Partnership for Careers in Law, Public Safety, Corrections, and Security.
The Rockford campus of Rasmussen College is located approximately one hour northwest of Chicago. The campus itself is situated on one of the main roads that travels through the heart of Rockford and has easy highway access from all directions. Chicago-Rockford International Airport serves a growing population in the community. The northern Illinois Rock River area is one of the most scenic and diverse across the entire state. Recreational opportunities abound and Rockford is home to Rock Cut State Park that is Illinois' largest state park.
