| In 2004 we announced the new Portfolio and
Planner developed exclusively for the Law, Public Safety, Corrections
and Security Career Programs. As we outlined then, the National Partnership for Careers in Law, Public Safety, Corrections and Security, working with Talent Assessment, Inc., developed an academic career planner and portfolio specifically for students interested in careers in law, fire and emergency services, law enforcement, corrections and security. We view such planners and portfolios as key ingredients for any viable career program at the secondary and post-secondary education levels. They help keep students focused and provide key methods to help students think through their career and education goals and make realistic choices. The purpose of the portfolio is twofold: 1)Provide a comprehensive planning system for students from 8th grade through the first two years of college; 2)Hold the key documents students will need to

| Last year, with the help of many of those
responsible for law, public safety, corrections and security career
programs around the country, a comprehensive academic and career
portfolio and planner was piloted and then offered as a one time
nationwide opportunity.
Over 1700 were purchased. A few hundred remain. These are being offered on a "first come-first served" basis. As long as they last, you may order quantities
